STATUS

South-west, south central Europe and north-west Africa. Monotypic.

OVERVIEW

Black-eared Wheatear O. hispanica was split into two species during 2019: Eastern Black-eared Wheatear O. melanoleuca and Western Black-eared Wheatear O. hispanica.
