Bufflehead

Bucephala albeola (Linnaeus, 1758) (1, 18)

STATUS

North America. Monotypic.

OVERVIEW

Like most wildfowl there is always a suspicion of them not being wild, so, BBRC (2020 Report) have a policy whereby the legs have to be seen to be free of rings for acceptance. There are a number of June records!
