STATUS

North America. Monotypic.

OVERVIEW

The first was seen by two birders on a week’s holiday in Cornwall for 45 minutes who then photographed it and also took some camcorder footage. A sudden violent rainstorm forced the bird to hide in the dry stone wall, but after then it could not be relocated.
