STATUS
Eastern Siberia. Monotypic.
OVERVIEW
Only admitted to Category A of the British List in 2009. With the first record feather analysis was consistent with its origin being from Siberia.
Heavily persecuted during the twentieth century but has now recovered due to less hunting of the species.
