History In an Editorial (1927) in British Birds, Vol. XX. p. 298, under 'Brown-coloured Rook in Cornwall', they say: 'Cornwall. - Mr. E. W. M. Magor informs us of a brown-coloured Rook (Corvus f. frugilegus) that frequents the neighbourhood of St. Tudy. He describes it as being light chestnut on the upper surface, with a darker head, and bay coloured below.'
