In 1880 Feilden settled in Wells-Next-the-Sea, Norfolk. He moved to Burwash, Sussex in 1902. Feilden joined the Norfolk and Norwich Naturalists’ Society in 1880 and became President in 1885. As well as contributing to the Transactions of the Norfolk and Norwich Naturalists’ Society, he also wrote scientific papers for the Zoologist and Ibis amongst others.
